Too busy to update? 06.03.11
Ja, eigentlich gibt es keine Entschuldigung dafür, haha! Und es tut mir ja leid! Aber nicht, dass jemand denkt, ich wär faul gewesen in der Zwischenzeit. Oder noch schlimmer: im Urlaub. Nee, nicht mal an Weihnachten und Silvester.
Hier sind ein paar kurze Ausschnitte aus meinen Tätigkeiten:
Gerade eben bin ich fertig mit einem neuen ‚Günter‘-Buch: ‚das Günter-Prinzip‘. Ja, ich weiss, das klingt nicht besonders nach etwas Neuem, doch das neue Buch wird anders, grösser und hoffentlich besser. Und erscheint im Mai. Für Adidas hab ich gerade ein Animationsprojekt fertiggestellt, ich arbeite am Konzept und am Look mit für ein neues cooles grosses Filmprojekt, meine ersten Cover für Marvel sind veröffentlicht und meine Zusammenarbeit mit Daimler geht in die nächste Runde.
Eins meiner Hauptanliegen gilt Gregorius Randolph Egnat Grün, kurz GREG. Die ersten Show-Vorträge für dieses Jahr werden gerade organisiert und sein erstes Buch wird im Moment gedruckt.
Oh, und ich hatte ja eine grosse Ausstellung in Verbindung mit meiner Hochschul-Lehrtätigkeit. Am 15.April findet die Finissage statt, zu der auch ein Bildband erscheinen wird, der die Entwicklung, Entstehung und Bedeutung der Ausstellung dokumentiert. Natürlich werden die Exponate auch vertreten sein, einige davon nagelneu und sonst noch nirgends zu sehen. Im Mittelpunkt ein 6 mal 6 Meter grosses Deckengemälde.
Mehr ‚naturverbundene‘ Projekte sind in der Mache: eine Website, die sich ganz auf meine Natur- und Tiergemälde konzentriert, ist im Bau. Und bald kann ich euch den Protagonisten eines anderen Projektes vorstellen: Patch. Mehr dazu in Kürze.
Ab März werden Comics von mir wiederveröffentlicht: ‚Black Metal‘ im ‚Faith Van Helsing‘-Magazin und ‚Aaron und Baruch‘ in ‚Comix‘, letzteres sogar zum ersten Mal ever komplett.
Also…es war und ist viel los. Ich verspreche, meine Update-Frequenz nun wieder zu erhöhen. Bis bald! Danke fürs dranbleiben.
I know there’s no excuse, haha! And I’m sorry. But don’t think I was lazy or worse, on vacation. I wasn’t. Not even on Christmas or New Year’s Eve. Here ‘s a quick rundown of some of the projects I’ve been working on… I just finished illustrating the new ‘Guenter’ book (it’s gonna be a special one: bigger and better) and an animation project for Adidas. I did concept art for a new cool big movie project, did my first comicbook covers for Marvel and my work with Daimler continues. Also in the works is one of my main projects right now: Gregorius Randolph Egnat Grün or short: GREG. The first shows for this year are being organized right now and also his first book is getting printed this month. Oh, and I had a big exhibition. The show closing will be on April 15th. At that occasion an art book which shows how the exhibition was conceptualized, organized and built will be on sale. Of course, the artwork of the exhibition will also be in there, along with interviews and a look at how I work and the concepts and ideas behind the paintings. Some of the artworks are brandnew and never seen before, especially a 6 on 6 metres ceiling painting. Another nature related project is on its way: a website entirely dedicated to my wild life paintings. Also there’s a little fella called Patch who I will introduce to you soon. Starting in March two comics will be re-issued in magazines: ‘Black Metal’ and ‘Aaron und Baruch’, the latter of which for the first time in its entirety. So you see…there’s a LOT going on.
